Privacy Notice to Consumers
This Privacy Policy of Newedge USA, LLC applies to individual consumers who are current or former customers of Newedge USA as broker or futures commission merchant, and individual consumers who apply for such services. This Notice refers to "personal information", which is nonpublic information that personally identifies you or relates to your accounts.
In servicing your needs and maintaining your trust, Newedge USA, LLC and its employees endeavor to maintain and protect the privacy of your personal information.
In servicing accounts, Newedge USA does collect personal information from the following sources:
- Information Newedge USA receives from you on customer account agreements, related documents, or other forms;
- Information about your transactions at Newedge USA, our affiliates, or others;
- Information Newedge USA receives from outside entities relating to the application approval process; and
- Information collected on customer visits to Newedge USA's web or customer account sites. If you elect to use our online products or services, Newedge USA assigns you a user ID and password so that Newedge USA may recognize you as a registered user, and Newedge USA may collect information about your visits to our web or customer account sites through that ID and password.
To process or service your account, Newedge USA, LLC may share some personal information with affiliated companies.
Newedge USA may share your personal information with third parties that are not affiliated with Newedge USA only in the following limited circumstances, which are permitted by law:
- To entities that assist Newedge USA in processing or servicing your account or transactions;
- To entities that may perform marketing services on Newedge USA's behalf or to other financial institutions with which Newedge USA may have joint marketing agreements and with which Newedge USA has agreements that prohibit the entity from disclosing or using the information other than to carry out the purposes for which it was disclosed; and
- To regulators, law enforcement personnel, and other persons or entities where Newedge USA believes in good faith that disclosure is required or permitted by law, such as in a regulatory audit or examination or in response to a subpoena or legal process.
Newedge USA, LLC protects the confidentiality and security of your personal information.
Newedge USA restricts access to your personal information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you, and Newedge USA's employees are bound by its privacy policy to maintain confidentiality and use customer's personal information only for business purposes. Newedge USA maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your personal information.
Newedge USA, LLC will provide notices of its privacy practices.
Newedge USA sends out annual notices to its individual consumers who are customers regarding its privacy policy and, if there is any change in the policy prior to the time that an annual notice would otherwise be provided, a revised privacy notice. In addition, if applicable, Newedge USA will provide required notices to former customers and other consumers before disclosing any information to nonaffiliated third parties.
Newedge USA, LLC makes every effort to keep your personal information accurate and up to date.
